Doug Atnipp, At Large

Partner, Egan Nelson, LLP

I have been practicing law for 37 years doing primarily energy transactional work. Currently I am with Egan Nelson LLP, a Texas based transactional boutique law firm.

I was born and raised in Midland, Texas. I attended Vanderbilt University for my undergraduate degree (where I met my wife) and then Texas Tech University School of Law for my law degree where I graduated in 1985.

I am married to Roni Atnipp (37 years). Both of us active at the Outreach Center. We have 4 children and 3 grandchildren, and we have been in Houston since 1985. Our oldest daughter, Julia Stellar, and her husband, Adam and their two children live Houston. Sarah Partin, our 2nd child, and her husband, Bowe, also live in Houston with their child. Ben, our oldest son, and his wife, Celine, currently work and live in Paris, France. Our youngest child, Will, is a third-year law student at the University of Texas School of Law

WHY DOUG SERVES:
I have served on the OCWH Board for over five years and have served on the golf committee each year.

I have been associated with OCWH for over 8 years. My involvement began as a participant in the golf tournament and then I became a Platinum Sponsor prior to serving on the board.

I serve on the OCWH Board because it offers me a chance to make a meaningful contribution to an organization that in turn makes a meaningful contribution to the lives of many in the community. Both my wife, Roni and I serve on committees to actively raise awareness and funds for the Outreach Center of West Houston. It means a lot to our family to support this facility and its mission in our community.
