WHY BILL SERVES:

It’s an opportunity to serve and try to have a positive impact on the community and on the city that I live in. I see the great things the various non-profit agencies that use the facility do for the people who live in the surrounding area, and I’m greatly moved by the positive impact the Center has on their lives. People’s lives are truly improved and changed for the better by the existence of OCWH in this community. There are a lot of low income, single parent families living near the Center and OCWH is uniquely positioned to connect them with the services and programs they need to overcome their challenges. And I find the more I get involved, the more I’m motivated to continue to serve. I get back much more than I put in.
