CrossWalk Houston – Adult Basic Education Classes
CrossWalk Houston is MDUMC’s local mission initiative serving our nearest West Houston neighbors in need. Our mission is to empower our neighbors to reach their full potential by providing educational opportunities, essential tools and personal support. CrossWalk currently has a small office, computer lab and two training facilities at the Outreach Center of West Houston where they hold ESL, Adult Basic Education classes, GED classes, and more.

Summer Camps by FamilyPoint Resources
FamilyPoint Resources is maxing all the spaces with all sorts of day camps throughout the summer such as Creative Arts, Dance, Game of Life, Sewing, Reading, Tumbling, and more!
Vacation Bible School by Neighbors
Christ Memorial Lutheran Church, a friend and neighbor of the Center, invited FamilyPoint children to be part of their vacation Bible school program. They had tons of fun throughout the week-long VBS.
Meeting Community Needs
Harris County Health, partnered with FamilyPoint, made a visit toward the end of the school year.
