We are excited to invite you to the upcoming PDASH 3K Fun Run on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Bear Creek Park! Check-in starts at 8am with the race at 9am. Come get pumped with DJ Altitude and have a little friendly competition for our gold, silver, and bronze medals!
This year you can join many other Houstonians in helping at-risk teens overcome the devastating effects of substance abuse.

Memorial Day
When? May 29, 12:30 pm
Where? Outreach Center of West Houston
The Fun? Ice cream, BBQ, volleyball, 9 square, bean bag toss, and a few other games! There also will be music and other goodies! Come by and unwind.
Calvin Gholar Memorial

One of the educational opportunities for adults at CrossWalk is the Adult Basic Education program. One of our much-loved students, Calvin Gholar, passed away recently. Calvin met with the same tutor each week for nearly 9 years and learned how to read in his mid-50’s. People at the center would describe him as charming, pleasant, and warm. Despite his health challenges, he was always positive and made everyone around him feel better.
This past Saturday was a memorial in Calvin’s honor. Friends, fellow students, and his family shared stories and their farewells.
